What is the Memorial Society of Alberta?

Organized in 1996, the Memorial Society of Alberta is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization, registered and operating under the Society Act of Alberta. It operates under the direction of a volunteer board of directors.

Why should I join?

The Memorial Society of Alberta has negotiated a preferred rate for its members with the selected funeral service providers listed. Membership in the Memorial Society of Alberta can save thousands of dollars in funeral costs. The selected funeral service providers have funeral homes that offer a full range of services including; large chapels, reception rooms and on-site parking – unlike low cost funeral providers without facilities in which to carry out these important services.

There are 2 ways to complete the application. There is a one time membership fee of $20.00 per person payable by cash, cheque or credit card using our new online payment method with PayPal.
